Who We Are:
H.L. George Development Corp. has been building homes for over 30 years. Herb George started building homes hands on: he was a part of his crew each day. The business evolved to having several crews constructing all types of housing: site-built or stick-built, modular, panelized and log. The homes have ranged from ranches, colonials, split levels to underground and log. Size has varied from 800 square feet to 7800 square feet. These homes have been primarily built all over Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including Martha's Vineyard. Others have been built in Vermont and as far away as Idaho.
Our combined construction history of over 65 years gives us the expertise to construct a quality home of most any style, size and budget for you.
While highly recommending modular engineered construction, we also site build conventional homes and log homes. We are able to show you the differences to meet your needs, expectations and budget.
